The Sunday Shortlist is my brain dump from the week, delivered straight to your online doorstep. Consider it an amuse-bouche to your Sunday paper, heavy on the amuse, hopefully with coffee.
Hi there! Happy weekend! We are rounding the corner of April, the trees are popping and the sun on shining… well most days. I’ve ridden my bike twice in the last week, which feels so wonderful, and only once wish I had worn gloves.
Everyone in our neighborhood is getting out more too. To the point where I’ve wondered if everyone adopted a dog over the winter (I hope they did) because on our daily walks it seems so. There are at least 10 times the amount of dogs out there than usual right now. Our dogs are thrilled, because it means new friends, but do most people not walk their dogs over the winter or unless the sun is out?
We’ve had more run in’s with neighbors recently too, which is also so nice. Everyone is emerging from their hibernations, ready to speak to other humans again. Chicago is funny that way.
Apologies for the slow, short one today. Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
Small joys is a weekly collection of little imperfect glimmers of happiness, neither here nor there, just because they were.
Wildly expensive, but so cute
Staying within the same color palette: Matisse x East Fork
There are so many great books to read right now, but for all of you The Artist’s Way fans, I think you’ll enjoy Daybook.
There’s certainly a lot to filter in here, but did you know Bobo Choses makes adult clothes?
Highly recommend this curry recipe!
